Is it possible to share chat history to onlinemeeting new participants?

Hi,

Is there any method or option to share the history of chatting that has been conducted until the user who has joined through onlinemeeting's joinUrl newly joined? Or is this impossible?
When I tested it, new participants only see chats from the time they joined.

Thanks.

  • Yes, it is now possible to share chat history with new participants in Microsoft Teams online meetings. Microsoft introduced the feature called "Meeting Recap" that allows meeting organizers to share a summary of the meeting, including the chat history, with both attendees and absentees.

When a meeting concludes, the meeting organizer receives an email with a recap of the meeting, which includes a link to the meeting recording, transcript, and chat history. The organizer can then share this recap with participants who were unable to attend the meeting or with those who want to review the discussion and chat messages.

To access the chat history and other meeting details, participants can click on the provided link in the meeting recap email. This feature is designed to help maintain transparency and ensure that all participants can catch up on the conversation and important information shared during the meeting.

    Thanks,

      Hi,
thank you for your quick reply However, "Meeting Recap" seems to be available only after the meeting. During the meeting, I want the participants to share the conversation from the beginning of the meeting to just before joining.
Is there any way to go about this?
