Developer ribbon for Word Docs in Teams

I currently have several word employee progress pages listed in my teams files.  I created a fill form in word, but when open through teams you are not able to select the fill areas for date or comments unless you open the doc in Word itself.  

-Can I get a developer tab on the ribbon in Teams?

-Is there an alternate way to edit the fill areas in teams?
