Deep link to Teams PowerApp tab
Hi everyone!
I'm trying to find a neat way to attach a deep link (to a PowerApps tab within a team) in a planner task but when I click the link it first opens a browser window before redirecting me to the correct tab in Teams. If I send the link to myself in chat it works as expected, redirecting me directly to the tab without opening a browser window. It's not a big problem obviously but for people not so tech savvy it could be confusing. Is there any way to solve this?
Thanks in advance, Per
Hello PJaderbrink - Thanks for raising your query. We have tried to repro this and observed same behaviour. While opening the deep link from planner task its redirecting first to browser then opens the requested tab app in Teams, however if we try to access directly from chat it navigates to correct tab without any other redirection.
This seems to be by design behaviour only and there is no other way to change it.
Thanks,

Hello ChetanSharma-msft - Thanks for the answer, I'll not make any further tries to get around it then. I suspected it was behaving that way by design.
