jason31 - Thanks for raising the issue. We will check it at our end and will update you with our findings. Could you please let us know what do you mean by name given in configuration? Is it the name given in app manifest or in Azure bot?

This is what we gave in Teams Developer Portal

But after publishing it shows the azure bot name instead of the name given above

jason31 - We tried to repro this issue by creating an app using developer portal by providing below display name.

Then we created app registration and Azure Bot in Azure portal providing this below name.

After publishing the app in MS Teams, the Display name is rendering same as configured in Developer portal both in Teams Classic and New Teams.
