Apostrophe in Teams App name and Autocomplete
Our company (O'Reilly) has an apostrophe in its name. We would like this name to be used as the "@" name when a user invokes the MS Teams bot application that we have created.
The Apostrophe in the app name is the standard keyboard-typeable apostrophe (not the curly one).
The issue is that when invoking the bot's name in a MS Teams post, the autocomplete suggestion goes away after typing the apostrophe character.
Here is after just typing the "O"
and here is after typing the apostrophe after the "O", the "O'Blah" username displays but the bot suggestion disappears
Please advise how we should proceed. We realize we could do a workaround like "Answers by O'Reilly" to at least have the name appear in the app and for the autosuggest to not be broken, but we would prefer "O'Reilly Answers"

scottmoschella - We tried to repro this issue both in MS Teams web and desktop client (Microsoft Teams Version 1.6.00.28967) and observed the below behaviour:
After typing just o :After typing o' :
We have raised a bug for the same. We will inform you once we get any further update from engineering team.

Thank you so much for raising this bug within Microsoft. It is greatly appreciated. We are very close to being feature complete for our Teams Bot application and would like to submit it for review within the next few weeks.
Do you have a rough estimate on how long it might take for this issue to be resolved? Do you think days or perhaps "weeks"?Also, would it be at all possible for the autosuggest to both allow a user to type `@O'Reilly Answers` and also `@Oreilly Answers` to keep the bot in the autosuggest -- matching the autosuggest with and also without the apostrophe?
Thanks again for your attention!- Prasad_Das-MSFTMicrosoft
scottmoschella - Apologies. Currently there is no ETA to share. We are following up with engineering team about this issue. We will update this thread once we hear from them. Thanks!
