About Mobile Teams production

Dear sir

We are first trying to develop Teams addin app for Desktop Teams and Web Teams.

And next release we have a plan to produce Teams app for mobile.

Therefore, in the first release, we are going to display "Not Supported" screen or something like that in Team app for Mobile.

Is it possible to produce Teams addin app for desktop and web teams?

Many thanks

BH

  • byungheesohn - Thanks for raising your query.

Could you please confirm if you are trying to create M365 add-ins?
If yes, please check this documentation and let us know what exactly you are trying to create.

If not, please share the steps that you are trying to perform (Scenario) and any document that you are currently referring.

      Thanks for the reply
We are trying to create Teams addin app. We'll upload our Teams addin app to MS Store later.
But, I don't know what the difference between MS365 addin and MS Teams addin is.
However, we'll develop Teams addin app for Teams Store app.
Actually we have the our own app hosted on the web . And then we have a plan to upload Teams Store after changing our own app for Teams addin app.
Thing is we can't develop both desktop Teams addin app and mobile app. So we first produced the desktop Teams addin app, and next time we'll develop mobile Teams addin app.
For the customer, we have a plan to show some notice or guide screen on the mobile Teams app with like "not yest in service".
Is it possible for us to produce first desktop Teams app to MS Teams Store?
      Many thanks

byungheesohn - MS365 add-ins are focused on Office applications, whereas MS Teams add-ins are tailored for the Teams environment.

        • MS365 add-ins are designed to extend the functionality of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
        • MS Teams add-ins, also known as Teams apps, are specifically designed to enhance the functionality of Microsoft Teams. These add-ins can include bots, tabs, connectors, and messaging extensions that integrate with Teams to provide additional features and capabilities.
