Having trouble with a URL with ?Mode=Edit on it
I'm trying to automate the changing of a Web part through Power Automate Desktop and I'm having trouble with a SharePoint URL not working correctly when I have ?Mode=Edit on it. It was working earlier but stopped. It no longer opens the page in Edit Mode.
By open the page in Edit Mode, the script doesn't have to deal with clicking the edit button which make it simpler to work with.
Any suggestions as why ?Mode=Edit wouldn't work. If I click the Edit Button the URL changes to have ?Mode=Edit appended.

sonisick When you encounter a URL with "?Mode=Edit" in it, it usually indicates that the page is in edit mode. This can happen with various web applications, such as wikis, content management systems, or online document editors. However, if you are having trouble accessing the page, it could be due to several reasons. One possible issue is that you don't have the necessary permissions to edit the page or access the edit mode. Another reason could be that there is a problem with the URL itself, such as missing or incorrect parameters. To troubleshoot the issue, you can try clearing your browser's cache and cookies, checking your permissions for the page or application, or contacting the website or application's support team for further assistance.
sonisick I have also noticed same recently, SharePoint does not open page in edit mode if you open page URL with ?Mode=Edit directly in browser tab.
I think something must have changed from Microsoft end. So, you may need to change your flow in Power automate desktop OR try contacting Microsoft support team directly. Follow: Get M365 support - online support
