Extract all text in a document

Does anyone know if there is a Syntex extractor that will extract all the text in a document? I would like to have a multi-line column in the library that stores all the doc content as plain text (I understand there is a 64K char limit for multi-line columns but that would be enough for an average 15 page doc and most docs are under that).
