Your SharePoint Online subscription has exceeded its storage limit
We are receiving emails and notifications on our admin page stating that our SharePoint Online subscription has exceeded its storage limits. To my understanding we have 25TB of storage. So far we have used less than two terabytes. Attached are pictures of our storage used (4.16% used), the message banner from the top of the window, and the quota. I believe we are receiving the emails and warnings in error. How can I stop the emails from sending?
This helped me figure out our storage limits:
Depending on your plan, you might only have the base 1 TB plus x GB per user license purchased.
According to your screenshots your site collection limit is the 25 TB default, however that isn't your actual tenant storage available to you.
Check the SharePoint admin site - Active sites - in the upper right corner is an indicator of how much of your total tenant SP storage is being used.

Kimberly Roetman Thank you! That was the issue exactly. I would have never figured it out otherwise. I really appreciate it.

GuyCo It took me a bit to figure it out too. It's a bit confusing when they allow site collection limits to far exceed purchased storage :)
