Why we have 2 usernames for the same external user (Guest account)
Hi all, I have shared a sharepoint online site with an external user email address which is (for example) test.abc@org123.com, and the user received the invitation email and has accessed the site...

john john, our external users who use the wrong email address get the "That didn't work" error message.
The "duplicate" users with different casing would seem to indicate that O365 is treating them as separate accounts. I would be inclined to remove the test.abc_Org123.com#EXT#@ourtenant.com account and have the external user try again. If the error persists I would remove the Test.Abc_Org123.com#EXT#@ourtenant.onmicrosoft.com and start over.
