Why is file:// hyperlink pointing to local network drive not working in SharePoint Online List

Hi Community,Please suggest why this file://&nbsp;hyperlink wouldn't open in Chrome/ IE/ EdgeIf i paste the link directly in browser it works but the hyperlink from SP list doesn't do anything&nbsp;Kindly suggest!&nbsp;

Andrew Hodges&nbsp;It didn't work in any browser still!Somethin is different with SP Online i believe!
