What would prevent a communication site from showing in Sharepoint hub site?

I have one communication site that is associated with my hub site. However, it does not show on the "Sites" as one of the sites in the hub. I thought it was because it was a communication sites (although it should not be the case but...) so I created another communication mock site and that one shows in the "Sites" app. What could be preventing my other communication site from showing on the hub site? It is a new/modern communication sites. Something with indexing or permissions perhaps? Not sure! :(

Hi Wilmarie, You can now check hub site association via the preview SharePoint Admin Center. You can reach this via the Admin app if you are an admin or ask your administrator to check this out. This will confirm if your site is associated with a hub site. The menu allows you to add, change or delete associations. If the site is already associated you can try deleting the association, this will not delete the site, and then re-associate it. Beyond this I would recommend raising a support ticket.
