What does "Portal Site Connection" do on a Modern site, if anything?
I'm trying to determine if configuring the "Portal site connection" actually does anything on a modern site (/_layouts/portal.aspx ) ? The option to configure it is there, but it does not seem to do anything. In the past I've used this with on-premise SharePoint to create a breadcrumb to another site.
taharris Thank you for posting this. I too would like to know if this has any functionality. I want to allow sites to collaborate without having to rebuild the Teams sites already created. Particularly I want to have a calendar overlay to show multiple Teams calendar in one view for management but for individuals not have to see all departments at once.
