"We couldn't find any results for" issue when searchig existing item in SharePoint list
Hi! I'm currently having an issue where I search for a specific keyword using the "Search this list" search bar and I get the "We couldn't find any results for keyword" error message, even though...
How long was the item in the list before searching? It can take some time for indexes to catch up. Also SharePoint usually works with starts with searches depending on column types but you can also try using * after the term. Another option might be trying to go to the parent site and searching since that seems to search differently sometimes cause view etc can mess with searches to the list directly.
Other options might be check the indexes on the list settings. Maybe added a column to indexing there may help but I would do that as last ditch effort.
