Visio permissions error when using SharePoint File & Media Web part

Sam_Green I have had the same issue and found that it was due to the "Restricted View" permission setting that was applied when users requested access to individual files in a document library. By using the Manage Access on the file and using the Advanced Settings to change the permission to "View Only" this allowed the Visio file to be viewed in the browser (without the error) whilst still restricting the ability to download.
just to add I didn't have any problems with moving between pages in the Visio file after enabling the View Only permission
