Views & Security for Modern Lists
Hello,
I want to only show certain columns in a SP online list, to a certain group of people.. possible?
- I ended up creating a list view with the columns hidden/removed. Then i created an old web part page, inserted the list web part, and configured it to use the custom view. The information is not super sensitive, so this "solutions" should work for a while..
I have been searching for a way to do this too! It's too bad that it's not out of box!
This would be the vision of Powerapps. To create a gallery for each list where we can dictate the content and view through Powerapps rather than through list-settings.
That said, while I've seen this in roadmap slides, I think we might have to wait until Q1 2018 (?) to see any solution.
In modern lists, it's not possible at all. They are not customizable in any way so far, alas. Waiting for any customization possibility.
- Andrew is correct, at the moment we don't know how to customize modern lists so for now it's not possible to achieve what you need
