View level permissions/content permissions

Hi! I a fairly new to sharepoint and am wondering if I can restrict access of some items in a list based on a yes/no value of a column or other logic like contains etc.

I found out that we can filter stuff in the sharepoint view and thought if we can use view level permissions to give access to certain members and restrict access for some members.

Does sharepoint support this? If not, is there a workaround to achieve what is mentioned above?
