Video formats supported in SharePoint Online
Hi, I have uploaded video file of format WMV, MP4, AVI and MPG type in SPO asset library, but when clicking on videos only MP4 file is playing while other formats like AVI, MPG, WMV does not work. A...
- And bear also in mind that the Video formats you mention are supported by Office 365 Video that uses Azure Media Servies while this is not true on an Assets Library
Which is the video format? SPO and ODFB are capable to provide builtin video playing without the need of a video player plugin..of course, SPO and ODFB are not video platforms so user experience when playing a video is not very good and that's the reason why we have Stream in Office 365
The video format is MOV.
