Using the totals option in sharepoint list (not working)

I am trying to use the totals option on a currency field in my sharepoint list view.  If I load the table from EXCEL via power automate, the totals work just fine.  But, if I export data from EXCEL to a sharepoint list in the same format, the totals don't work.  Any ideas?  Thank you.
