User Accounts for Non-persons
Apologies if the subject line is not clear.
SharePoint online accounts are associated with individual email accounts. We have requirements where a job updates/uploads lists or document libraries. We want to really differentiate this account from actual users.
I understand with SharePoint online, there is no concept of Service accounts. Any pointers?

- You can absolutely create Service accounts in SPO, just remember that each account accessing a SPO site is an Azure AD account behind the scenes so you can create that service account in your Office 365 tenant, grant the required permissions in your sites and use it in the Job that updates / uploads information
