Updates to News web part shipped to First Release

Today we delivered some updates to the News web part to First Release. Now News web part allows users to choose between 3 different responsive news web part layouts and also allows user to change the title of the web part on the page.

The 3 layouts include :

1. Top story layout - this is the layout that users are familiar with - it has one big news post, which is the last news post that was published and 3 smaller news posts. This layout will continue to be the default layout for team site news
2. List Layout - shows the most recent 4 news post as a list of stories from newest to oldest
3. Side-by-side layout - shows the most recent 4 news posts in 2 side by side columns

To change the web part layout, you need to go into "Edit" mode on the page that News web part is hosted on and then open the property panel for the web part.
