Update SP App Instance in SharePoint Online

Hello Everyone,

We are working with Add-Ins in SP Online and have a lot of site collections & sites where we installed these Add-Ins.

Now, There is an update the existing App and would like to update the App in all sites using some automated approach like using PowerShell. 

I have tried to use Update-SPAppInstance. But, i see that this is only applicable to SP 2013. Can anyone suggest me the best approach to go ahead with the App update using automation.
