Unable to edit view
I am unable to edit a specific "all items" list view because every time I try it says "something went wrong." "All Items" is the only view that exists for this list but I am able to edit "All Items" ...
If this is group site - meaning it's associated with an O365 group, you should stay away from the site permissions. The owners group will APPEAR empty and the only thing you should see under Members is the name of the O365 group. If you are seeing individual names in either of those places, you're going to have problems.
Sounds to me like someone didn't understand how permissions work in a group enabled site and changed them - possibly removed the "group" from Members - and consequently you lost your access. I would contact the SharePoint admin and see if they can restore the group to the Members.
