Unable to edit Repost pages from Site pages library

Hi folk

I need a bit of a sanity check from the community.

I'm sure I used to be able to edit News 'repost' pages from within the Site Pages library.  It's not something I needed to do very often - just occasionally when someone wanted a minor update to title, description or the news item thumbnail image.

I've tried to edit a Repost page today from within the Site pages library but it just keeps redirecting me to the destination page.  I can edit the page properties, but this doesn't have all the fields I remember seeing previously when I was editing Repost pages.

Can anyone let me know if they have noticed this change too - I can't recall seeing any communications  from Microsoft about this change
