This SharePoint Online tutorial will demonstrate how to disable subsite creation SharePoint online. It is important to note that using the approach outlined in this video, you can turn off subsite creation, for both classic and modern SharePoint sites or just modern sites. In this tutorial, I will demonstrate disabling subsite creation and then will navigate to the different types of SharePoint sites to validate that the option to create a subsite has been removed. While the approach outlined in this video is performed in SharePoint Online, it can also be used to disable subsite creation in SharePoint 2013.
