There's a feedback post for this. We're avoiding customizing (CSS, JS, et al) due to its propensity to break over time with SaaS updates to SharePoint Online. I'm hoping Microsoft will turn the shy header into a settings option eventually.

Hi, does anybody in Microsoft even read feedback? I don't think so, otherwise they would have solved many frustrating features that were introduced in their products long time ago and yet these "features" are still kept for no logical reason.
