Trying to use Highlighted content Web part to pull in blog content to my home page
I've created a blog subsite, and want to pull that into my home page so users can see the most recent blogs. I read that you can use the highlighted webpart to do that but I cannot get it to work.
I've tried to add the subsite url by choosing 'select sites' under content but it does not recognise the url. if I just tick the box next to my subsite on the 'frequently accessed' list, no blogs appear in the webpart. I've tried in Edge and Chrome but no luck. or any better ways to do this?

When you copy/paste the URL, be sure to remove the "/default.aspx" and end with the name of your blog subsite, so something like https://YOURSITENAME.sharepoint.com/sites/YOURHOMESITE/blog.
