Time for Hub Site Navigation Link Update via a Timer Job
I have a Global Navigation that is on Hub Sites and Site Collections and I find that when I click edit, it often takes me to:
/_layouts/15/AreaNavigationSettings.aspx
I can go in and update the link maybe from say an updated homepage from home1.aspx to home.aspx or something simple, so the link is added or changed, and it seems to take a few HOURS and I don't know if that information is public / available to inform my colleagues "oh when I change this at the top it will take, 60 minutes"
As per documentation, Implementing global navigation changes may take up to 24 hours for the changes to take effect. Like many other jobs in Microsoft cloud, we only get to know the time range. It some times can take less than an hour or more than 24 hrs in my experience depending on day and time.
