Team Sites default views
Hello, deploying a fairly large o365 deployment soon and we are creating team sites for all departments for their file repos. I've noticed the default Sharepoint landing page does not show the sites your are a member of, even if you created it. Do users really have to search for the team site and follow it in order for it to show up on their Sharepoint landing site? Hope I'm missing something here.

- Jeffry KendrickCopper Contributorokay, I find it strange that even if I create one I have to go search for it and follow. There should be a section that shows sites your a member of by default?

As already said, Microsoft thinks that Office Graph is the key to such needs...

I'm fairly sure SharePoint once automatically had the site creator follow the site, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Something to show what sites someone is a member of would be very nice, though I'm not aware of any UI-based method for doing that.

Salvatore said it, options for that landing page are quite limited, and the Featured Links section is the only area that can be changed. Search and Follow will be the only option you have, unless someone proactively sends department users the URLs to their site(s).

As you said, you can follow a site to have it listed in the "Following" section on the left.
Also, you can rely on Office Graph to automatically populate the "Frequent" and "Recent" lists.
Finally, you can add manually sites to the "Frequent links" section.

Hope it helps...
