Team Site (No Microsoft 365 Group)

Hi all,

I am new to Sharepoint and I have a question about the creation of a Sharepoint Site.

There is this section "Select a Template" where this option appears: "Team Site (No Microsoft 365 group)

From what I had studied, when you create a Microsoft 365 group, you also were creating under the hood: a shared calendar, a shared email address, and a Sharepoint Site.

So, is that a Sharepoint Site that doesn't have a Microsoft 365 group attached?
