Task List - Columns Blank

I am noticing a weird bug in a Task List I've created.  When I go to the list some of the columns are showing up as empty despite having values (Image1).   Yet, when I sort by the column, the values suddenly appear (Image2).  I don't have any custom filters or sorting on the list view and I have no idea what is happening (Image3).  Thank you in advance for any and all help.
