SPO Modern Sites for Blogs?
I really want to move my blog to o365 from wordpress, and i am looking for recommendations.
With all the power of SPO and Modern sites, would you guys think it would make an amazing blogging platform like Wordpress?
Is there a reason why most people that blog about o365 and sharepoint use other platforms?
Is there a compelling reason NOT to use office 365? Is it because of the license? What about anonymous access to pages only?
I know Todd Kindt uses SharePoint 2010.
Anyone else?
- First and most important reason why this will not work is that Office 365 does not allow anonymous access to SPO so while technically you could think on using modern SPO pages for your blogging scenario, from a practical point of view your "blog" is going to be limited to the users that can sign in in the site where you have modeled that blog

That makes sense. i totally spaced on the authentication issue.
Therefore one can say that o365 is suited more for controlled access to data, rather than free access.
Thanks for the response, and back to wordpress. lol.
