SPO library view

Hi, I have Month and Year as separate metadata column in SPO. For Moth, I have created a custom sorting order:

When this is used in the view, it still displays by alphabetical order.

Is there a way how I can sort the columns by calendar months?

Did you try adding sorting based on Order column?

Try following this Microsoft official documentation once and see if it works for you: Use sorting to modify a SharePoint list view

Yes. The Month is a managed metadata column, and that sorting order does not appear anywhere in the columns sorting tab.

        1. The quick link directly from the list to sorting only shows visible columns. Instead go through "Edit current view" on the View tab -> find the "Sort" section -> Select your column "Order":

        2. Make sure the column "Order" is a "Number" and not "Text"
