SPFX component rendered twice

Hi 

Can anyone help me with the below mentioned problem. 

My SPFX Webparts are rendering twice on Modern Pages. The render() is called twice if I try to navigate from a one page to another using Navigation. Also, While editing the properties of the webpart, the same is loaded multiple times.

Anyone else facing this issue? Is it a reported bug to Microsoft? 

Can you please help here as because of that we may need to propose the classic UI based solution to customer.
