SP Online - removing inactive users (left company) - does it preserve their activity?
Hi,
We have a good number of users that left the team and we would like to remove them from our team site. However, we have lists where they added records, etc.
If we remove/delete the user from the site will those lists preserve the data of who have created those records?

Created/Modified By records will not be impacted by the removal of users--you won't get much information from the People popup seen in the Modern experience (just the email address that user last had), but the user's name will still be kept intact.
