SP List Import Colum of IPs
I have an excel list with thousands of rows and I would like to import this to a SP online list. One of the columns is IP and it's formatted as number, it's in the format 123.123.123.123
In SP, whenever I select new list > from Excel and select my file, the IP address column is being automatically detected as single line of text. I don't have the option to change this to number.
How can I achieve this?
jonboylib your IP address column in SharePoint will need to be a single line of text type. You won't be able to add IP addresses to a number column as it won't understand the multiple dots.
