I'm having the same issue for one of my Clients.
From what I've gathered, normally after submitting for approval, the draft is saved and the page is checked in. The Draft is stored somewhere to be approved.
In the site that's having the same issue, after submitting the page is checked out.

Hello! did you find a solution for this issue? I'm having the same issue here. I approve all the site's news posts, but since a few months ago, all new news posts are generated as checked-out. I can see my own checked out pages in the Site Pages collection, but I cannot see anyone else's until they check them in. I even made a Power Automate flow that automatically checks in new pages, but it only works for mine.
Does anyone have a solution to this?
Thanks
- SupraCupraJul 18, 2024Copper ContributorHi there, on my end it seemed that someone changed the versioning settings to only accept Major versions.
To fix this, I changed the versioning settings to accept minor and major versions and this fixed the check in process.- EZertucheJul 19, 2024Copper Contributor
Hello SupraCupra !! Thanks for your reply.
I just checked and I have major and minor versioning active but I still have the same problem.
I will try to keep finding a solution.
Thanks!
