Sharing via edit link
When you want to share a file in a document library and want the url you now have 3 options with get a link
Edit Link
View Link
Rectricted Link
With the classic sharepoint, the equivalent is Restricted link, but sometimes users use the edit/view link option and that creates permissions on the item that you cannot remove. Is there a way a remove users who have been give permissions using the edit/view link option?

- You could potentially look at the permissions of the individual item and set them back to inherit the permissions from the parent - which will then take the permissions from the document library itself.

Thanks for the suggestion but that defeats the purpose of restricting access to teh document. If you were to go back to inherit permissions then you need to re-apply the unique permissions for users.

Hi Dhiran Gajjar,
If you go to the advanced permissions page for a given item (click on the item, click "Share", go to "Shared With", click "Advanced") you should be able to remove permissions from that screen. Hope that helps!
