Sharepoint/Onedrive 300K Files limit
Hello,
We are using Sharepoint/Onedrive for 7 users. They are all searching/Editing within 300k Files (600GB) (15 years worth)
Im aware of unofficial file count limit of 300K.
They are already experiencing issues, like sync issues, Very slow Searching (even with Always keep on Device)
Unfortunately they cant archive/remove any of date because they need constant access to all the files, even old ones.
Is there anything that can be done, or is there any other solution outside of Microsoft that would be suitable for this scenario?
Regards
mike

By splitting the files into multiple libraries and then enabling SharePoint's archiving policies such as setting up a reserved library, you can bypass the file restrictions.
