SharePoint Sites in Site Collection

- Nov 08, 2018Can't find anything direct it's been talked about at Ignite and they continue to throw hints that best practice is using site collections instead of subsites. Lots more settings etc. you gain from Site collections vs. a subsit.

To me this sounds like a use case for Hub Sites....You would create "Marketing". And then "Marketing1" and "Marketing2" which are part of the Marketing Hub. They are still separate site collections, but appear to roll up to the same place. Is that what you mean?

Yup, def. Hub sites are the "new" way of accomplishing subsites but keeping the benefits of using site collections.
