SharePoint Site Permissions

My team uses a SharePoint Site which is used in various ways, for example storing and sharing documents.

When i have reviewed the top level permissions, i expected it would just be myself and my team listed.  However, i have found lots of other people listed with Web-Only Limited Access.

Does this mean these people could have access to our whole or parts of our site that we are not aware of?
