SharePoint site page with library filtering

Hello
I am new to SharePoint . I have created a site page that hold document library . my query is . I want to filter library in different ways that page level with separate buttons .can be possible to achieve this . I created buttons but it's redirecting to the library . I want to filters it's self in site page level. can it possible .
