Sharepoint site name changed!

this could you Company name change, can you check in portal.azure.com > Azure Active Directory - what do you see as a name?
You should be also able to check this in admin.microsoft.com under Organization information - Settings - Microsoft 365 admin center

I was able to change the name under https://admin.microsoft.com/#/Settings/OrganizationProfile
and it updated under Azure Active Directory as well, just waiting for it to update under office applications as well. Is there anything else i have to do here?

that is how you do it. It might take some time to change the name (propagation), but it will eventually.
