I noticed search results from the home page now includes News pages with file results, but no still no list items.

Any update by chance? I'm having a similar issue in that searching in place (within the list) doesn't seem to work in addition to from the main search. Now keep in mind I'm trying this from a modern Comm site turned Hub.
