SharePoint Search Center Broken by Migration

our search center is completely dead after using a migration tool on it (mistakenly)

is there any way to set up a new search center with the same URL?

tenant.sharepoint.com/search

or is it best to create a new site collection using the search center template under /sites/ and change the setting in the search settings?
