SharePoint Red Theme, Filter By Text Transparent

Hello,

I didn't know if anyone else ran into this issue but I have applied the Red Theme to my SharePoint page.  However, now that I have done so, regardless of the list I am in when I go to filter by any column, the search box text is transparent and you cannot see as you're typing.  This is very annoying and I've tried to check every setting I can think of to fix this without any luck.  Can someone please point me in the right direction to correct this issue, if there is a solution ?  I have attached 5 screen caps that show the progression...

Step 01: Chose to Filter by a column (Model in this case)

Step 02: Placed mouse pointer in search bar and clicked

Step 03: Started typing "PM", you can see the text I typed is transparent and can't see remaining text unless you highlight

Step 04: Highlighted all the text to confirm what I typed

Step 05: Entire text is typed, but removed highlight to show transparent (or same color as background) text.
