Is it proven that PHA will still work after retirement / shut down of ACS?
I cannot find any hints where this is somehow confirmed by Microsoft.

- Nov 09, 2018You do not need to make any change in your process. Microsoft handled compatibility with addins and SharePoint hybrid on their end. Ultimately, you're not using ACS even though you think you are :-)

Even though its officially stated that ACS is deprecated but there is no impact to SharePoint add-in registrations done through appregnew.aspx etc., are there any alternate approaches for implementing without ACS for newly developed SharePoint add-ins?
