SharePoint Performance

Hello SharePoint Community,

 

I was finally able to get SharePoint 2016 to install on a Server 2012 R2 VM in VMware. It seems pretty simple to use however the performance on the web portal is slow and it errors out when trying to create a new web application. Any suggestions to improve performance?

    Can you share the details of the HW you have ando also the installation type you have done (standalone farm, min-role farm)?

        Then the problem could be in the HW you have in place....how did you install the server: manual approach or by means of PowerShell?
