SharePoint Pages: Edit published page when working on draft that is not published
I am working on a new home page as a draft in my SharePoint communication site. The draft page is not ready to be published. I wish to edit the existing home page, that is published for users, however I dont know how to access it. Does anyone know how to edit an existing published page, when you are working on an active draft of the same page?

i think it's not possible. You can only edit one version at the same time, you can't edit a page in more then one draft version at the same time.
From my point it makes no sense, otherwise the different versions would have to be merged at some point, which is not possible.
