SharePoint Online Versioning Generated Twice Issue

Dear All,

We find that there is an issue of generating document versioning in versioning history after editing the managed metadata. Do you guys face the similar issue recently? It's working fine last month and last year.

For an instance, 0.15 and 0.16 are the same metadata value. 0.16 is the extra version generated.

It suppose to be appeared in 0.15 only and the system shouldn't create 0.16.

      jcgonzalezmartin , does it as a new improvement? so far I didn't see any announcement which is related to document versioning improvement. Previously it's not behave in this way.
